Rebecca posing with GEO department sign on declaration day
I have had a great experience being the Chief Correspondent for PCUR for the last two years, but as my time at Princeton comes to close, I am excited to pass the torch to Rebecca Cho! Rebecca has been an outstanding Natural Sciences correspondent for PCUR for the past year and a half writing about everything from poster making to interviews about the Ph.D. student experience.
As a Geosciences major, Rebecca is in the Sigman Laboratory studying method development for biomineral analysis and development of biogeochemical proxies to understand past climates and ocean environments. In addition to her research work, Rebecca is a Hospice volunteer for Compassus, dances for KoKo Pops Dance Company, and plays cello for Princeton University Orchestra and La Vie en Cello. She actually studied cello at Juilliard in high school. As Chief Correspondent, she brings her experience and insight from all of these activities.
Another thing to know about Rebecca is that she is very big fan of Harry Potter and all things magic. She is Slytherin and I am Gryffindor, but fear not, there will be a peaceful transition of PCUR leadership. When not writing for PCUR, in the lab, or studying, you can find Rebecca reading, traveling, or rearranging music. Welcome to your new role, Rebecca!!
P.S. PCUR is hiring a correspondents for the upcoming academic year – tell your friends! If you are interested, check out our job posting here and aim to apply by March 17!
